Certificate in Insurance
The Level 3 Certificate in Insurance is a core qualification for insurance staff working across all sectors of the profession. The Certificate develops core knowledge and confidence of the key disciplines needed before you focus your subsequent studies and specialize according to your ambitions and career requirements.
It provides a grounding in basic general insurance principles including the regulatory environment, key disciplines of underwriting and claims, in addition to popular products such as motor, household, healthcare and packaged commercial insurances.
To complete your Cert CII level, you will need to earn 40 CII credits for successful completion.
One mandatory course will be W01 Award in General Insurance (non-UK) (15 credits). The remaining credits can come from any units within the insurance qualifications framework.
Diploma in Insurance
The Diploma in Insurance is a technical and supervisory qualification for insurance staff working across all sectors of the industry, and the logical progression from the Certificate in Insurance. The Diploma will provide you with a firm understanding of insurance fundamentals and will enable you to build towards advanced technical knowledge, thereby ensuring you have the means to function effectively in a challenging environment.
To complete your Dip CII level, you will need to earn 120 CII credits for successful completion:

Two mandatory courses that are available in our set course list will be M05 Insurance Law (25 credits) AND M92 Insurance Business and Finance (25 credits)
